Yet another hymn to the heroism of American soldiers.

They had love. They loved their wives and children - especially new-born babies. Their wives loved them. They showed their support with determination. They had faith. They worshiped god and prayed. They hated racism, they swore to treat soldiers of all colors like brothers. They never left brothers behind on the battle ground.

What made it even more glorious is, one of our American soldiers was happy and confident when he uttered at his death: "I'm proud that I die for my country...."

But, when going to fight in a foreign country half a world a way is pointless and meaningless, what is the point to watch these lovely boys die "heroically?" Death is ugly. Death is not something to sing high about, unless you die for defending your country, your family, your people.

In the Vietnam War, the Vietnamese who killed their north or south patriots were deplorable bastards. But those who killed the Americans to defend their homelands were true heroes.

Shame on the invading Americans who still think of themesleves as heros.

这,我想是《We are soilders》要说的主旨。
